Programmers are confessing their coding sins to protest a broken job interview process

There has to be a better way of interviewing technical/development candidates…there just has to be.  Too often good candidates are passed on simply because a whiteboard test or an on the spot coding challenge is administered and the candidate is not properly prepared.  It’s not because they didn’t take the time to prep, but according to the article some of these tests are designed with specific backgrounds and so some candidates are at a distinct disadvantage before they even begin.
